I believe that we all have an important role to play in the body of Christ. No matter our position in life, age, race, gender, and so on. And while there are many areas that I am passionate about, I presently speak on Jesus-centred parenting, child-like faith, raising disciples, and advancing the kingdom. I'd love to come and share what God has placed on my heart with your community.
I've spoke in churches of every size, at youth retreats, women's retreats, child and youth worker conferences, and to kids, youth, and adults of all ages.
Raising Disciples: How to Make Faith Matter for our Kids (Herald Press, 2019) This book is a labour of love and desire to see our kids grow as life-long disciples of Jesus. It delves into the idea of Jesus-centered parenting, and how we do it. It is designed to help parents, pastors, youth leaders, mentors, and Sunday school teachers disciple the next generation by offering best practices for nurturing the spiritual development of children and youth
with practical ideas for discipling children, teenagers, and young adults. Find it anywhere you buy books.
As the curriculum pastor at The Meeting House - a multisite church in Canada, I oversee the development of kids and youth teaching from birth to end of high school. I've been in pastoral ministry for over a decade in an ever-changing multisite landscape. Prior to pastoral ministry, I worked briefly in education. I have an honours B.A. in English (Redeemer University College), M.T.S. (McMaster Divinity College), and am presently working towards a Doctor in Practical Theology (MDC) with a focus on the spirituality of children.
